How does coaching work?

My coaching philosophy is that you have the answers that are most valuable and relevant to your life. I’m here to help you uncover them. I will ask you questions, help guide you and provide expertise (and even straight-up advice) when needed.   

I will work to help you keep true to your values, overcome obstacles and help you stay on track to get the outcome you want. 

Is Personal Branding a fad?  

Your personal brand is your professional reputation, and reputations aren’t fads. Your personal brand is how others’ experience you — and not everyone is as self aware as they think they are.  One can be stellar at what they do,  but that’s not always enough to help you stand out in today’s job market.  In my experience, a strong personal brand reflects your marketability.  What makes you unique, also makes you most marketable.  I help my clients get a clear view of what’s most marketable about themselves.  As a result, they tend to attract the right opportunities for them, and enjoy their work way more too.

My family member/friend could use your help. Can you coach them?

Sure! This is voluntary, so they have to want to be an active participant. Have them take a look at my website, or, for a more subtle approach, send them one of my blog or social media posts. If they’re interested, they can contact me. If not, don’t fret. They, and you, will be okay. Self development is a personal journey and everyone is on a different trajectory. 

How long will it take for my collateral to be completed?

Depends on the complexity of your career, the state of your current documents, and your availability! My approach to this process is that we work on your resume, cover letter, and Linkedin profile a bit together, so you can see how I approach making the improvements. Typically, we meet around 2-3 times, and you should have all of your finished documents in a few weeks. Should you have an urgent need, we can certainly discuss an expedited completion date. 

Can You Help Me Secure an Interview?

Technology has transformed the employment landscape, including how we apply to jobs and network. I share with clients best in class strategies to get the word out and drive the right eyes your way. In getting to know you, I gather all of the details needed to create compelling documents chock full of specific keywords and formatting that appeals to today’s online readers and applicant tracking systems.

Do you guarantee you will find me a job?

This is a nuanced question. While I have a high satisfaction rate and over 95% of previous clients secure full time, permanent work as a result of our partnership, I don't guarantee that you will have a new job within X days after working together. 

This is because I am a strong believer that the success of your job search relies on both the quality of your resume and other documents (I’ve got you covered there) AND the strategy and effort you put into the process. It’s a 2 way street. 

By LinkedIn "makeover," do I have to have a profile first?

Yes, you will need to at the very least have a profile established, even if it hasn’t been fully populated. I will help you optimize it, make it appealing to your network, hiring managers, recruiters, and show you how to use the entire platform to your benefit.

After Company shares documents for review, Client agrees to provide feedback, request edits, or approve of content within 10 days. After 10 days, Company will consider the document approved and complete.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Sarelle Caicedo, caicedocareers.com and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party.

Section 5 - Confidentiality

Your identity and the nature of your sessions will be kept private from any third parties unless you provide written consent. This extends to any instance in which you refer a future client. Company will not assume that this individual knows you have personally engaged our services on prior occasion, nor will we reveal this to the referee, unless the individual expressly indicates–verbally or in writing–prior knowledge that you have worked directly with us, and that you shared this information with the referee.

There are 2 exceptions to confidentiality:

1.    When disclosure is imminent to prevent harm to yourself or others;

2.    When legal demands require that confidential material be released;

Section 6 - Liability

Company is not liable for any inaccurate, incorrect, or misleading information in the prepared materials; Client has an opportunity to review the materials and approve the entire content prior to delivery. Company will not confirm or attempt to verify information provided by Client and will not be responsible for the accuracy or truthfulness of the information provided by Client. Company is not responsible for consequential damages of any kind that client may incur from inaccurate documents and Client agrees to hold Company harmless from any such liability.

This website provides information only, and does not provide any financial, legal, medical or psychological services or advice. None of the content on this website prevents, cures or treats any mental or medical condition. You are responsible for your own physical, mental and emotional well-being, decisions, choices, actions and results. Section 7 - Satisfaction Guarantee

Company guarantees quality work and commits to supporting each Client in maximizing the effectiveness and impact of any documents produced and counsel we deliver on your behalf. We do not guarantee a job, promotion or other result apart from our counsel or written documents. In engaging our services, you agree that you have full responsibility for building and acting on an impactful job search, career pivot, or professional growth strategy.

Section 8 - Personal Information

In order to provide our Service, you may be required to provide information about yourself, including your name, email address, username and password and other personal information. You agree that any registration information you give to Caicedo Careers, LLC will always be accurate, correct and up to date. You must not impersonate someone else or provide account information or an email address other than your own.

Section 9 - Your Payment Information

We collect payment information for each order but we do not store payment information. We also do not have access to your credit card number or any other account details tied to your method of payment. Your payment information is securely communicated to and processed via our e-commerce software providers.

All personal information collected for an order is used for the fulfillment of that order and to manage our customer relationship with you.

Section 10 - Cookies

We may send cookies to your computer in order to uniquely identify your browser and improve the quality of our service. The term “cookies” refers to small pieces of information that a website sends to your computer’s hard drive while you are viewing the Site.
